Volunteer Opportunities
Your Time - Priceless
Below are some areas where our organization is in need of volunteers
* Real Care Babies: people to clean, conduct maintenance checks,clean babies clothes, charge the babies and load them up for travel to a new location. Donations of infant clothing (one-sizes size 0-3 months) are also appreciated.
* Data Analysis - knowledge of excel and basic evaluation methods is a must. We gather data for all of our programs. We need someone who has the skills to take the data, analyze it and put it in a easy to read format with graphs and/or charts.
* Representative - represent our organization at community fairs or other organization events (volunteers will be trained and will be accompanied by staff or board member at most events).
* No Show Charity Ball - design of invitations, stuffing and mailing invitations, entering responses in database and mailing out thank you notes.
* Mother Daughter Luncheon - Sit on planning committee between January and May for the Mother Daughter Luncheon - must be able to attend several meeting leading up to the event, set up, attend the day of the event, and help clean up after the event.
* Writers and Proof-readers - good writing skills must. Need help with writing and/or proof-reading our quarterly on-line newsletter, writing occasional press releases and/or op-ed articles for the newspaper, and writing our annual report.
*Organization Events - we need volunteers to help staff our community events and/or fundraisers.
* Hosting a Fundraiser - home party (Ex. Southern Living), golf event, car wash, dance or some other event that benefits our organization.
